The BIRKENSTOCK Mayari toe separator is a swinging sandal with a toe loop. The successful combination of design and comfort accompanies fashion-conscious men and women elegantly and comfortably through everyday life. The upper is made of particularly thick, oiled nubuck leather with an open-edged finish.

Upper : Oiled leather
Oiled leather is one of our favorite types of leather. Its oily or waxed surface creates unique color effects and a beautiful patina. The oily finish in our natural leather products results in a corresponding variance in color making each pair unique.
Inner sole: leather insole
The skin-friendly, flexible leather insole nestles gently against the foot and adapts to its contour. The open-pored and therefore particularly breathable surface enables a pleasant foot climate even during vigorous physical activity.
Footbed material: cork
Cork is a renewable raw material obtained from the bark layer of the cork oak. The natural product is heat-insulating and has very good damping properties.
Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, particularly light, elastic plastic with extremely good damping properties. This compensates for minor unevenness in the floor and gently cushions the steps in the walking movement.
